This Verification Of Competency (VOC) tests the skills and knowledge required to operate a Front End Loader
The VOC applies to those working in site based roles.
The VOC is essential if you are conducting the operation of a Front End Loader mobile plant.
The VOC covers the operational procedures of the equipment, not including any RTO units which may be required.

It specifies the mandatory requirements of plan and prepare for Front End Loader
operations, operate in line with established requirement's, lift, carry and place materials to complete work activity, select, remove, fit and use attachments for a Front End Loader, barricading prior to the use of an excavator, work safe practices and prepare to relocate and conduct housekeeping activities.
It encompasses responsibilities for, health, safety and risk management processes at all operative levels and adherence to safety practices as part of the normal way of doing work.
Completing the verification of competency will confirm an individual's skills and knowledge to carry out and complete the use of a Front End Loader and ensure procedures and to perform safe work practices. It consists of real-life practical skills and knowledge to allow the participant to be assessed as competent in demonstrating the ability to operate equipment and/or undertake Front End Loader operator role.
